Kyte walked back into his office at the Hokage's building, yawning, and throwing away what remained of his lunch, which was basically only the box and chopsticks. He looked at the stack of paperwork on his desk, eyeing it as he stood there.
...maybe I should have taken up teaching Genin after all...
Certainly better than doing paperwork. However, he mustered up the determination somewhere from deep within himself, and sat down at his desk, starting on the load of work he had to do. However, he couldn't quit thinking about the Anbu that had come to retrieve him. He softly remembered back at the Academy when he had met Blair. He hadn't seen her for a while, but the black op certainly sounded like her. Maybe that's why she was cold. He promised himself he would definitely be getting in touch with her again as he finished another paper, and put it on a separate pile on his desk. Looking at the new one, he pulled out another box of lunch, and ate a dumpling as he looked at it. It was a request for his friend, Kuwa. He grinned a bit at that thought.
When he had first met Kurayami, he was asked to shorten his friend's name to Kura. However, it was too easy; too good to resist, as that day, he didn't call him Kura, instead calling him Kuwa just to make it sound funny. He looked out the window. This notification was supposed to be received today. If Kurayami didn't get this, Kyte could be in some major trouble. He didn't have much sun left.
He got up, and picked up the paper off of his desk, quickly walking to the door and opening it. He hoped no one was sent after him again as he left, leaving the box of lunch on his desk.
